The basket or screen is the core of a strainer. Baskets are made to effectively and robustly strain all solids. Both come with the device or as a spare basket and are in regular and heavy-duty design. The heavy-duty variant is suggested when a material with a very high viscosity is strained or when there is a significant solids load, even though the normal design can handle almost all applications.
