Because of its multi-basket construction, the Eaton Model 510 simplex strainer differs from other large size simplex strainers. Four strainer baskets filter the process medium and offer the strainer an extraordinarily high dirt-holding capacity—an important issue in larger strainers that take longer to clean or change baskets due to their size and construction. The lower the total running costs of the strainer, the longer it stays in service between cleanings.
